If you want followers to wear sexy outfits, you need a replacement mod.
I am using BD’s Armor and Clothes Replacer – CBBE 3BA (3BBB)
also you can use Dress Up Lover’s NPC Outfit Changer or another mod to change the clothes.
Followers’ status are set to not be too strong.
The default equipment type is the best at what it does.
